Preparations are in full swing for the 2018 Run for Children: Luang Prabang Half Marathon which will take place on Sunday, October 21 in the world heritage listed city. The 6th Annual Luang Prabang Half Marathon will be the culminating event after a weekend of activities from October 19-21. According to organisers, the charity race will benefit the Lao Friends Hospital for Children (LFHC), with 100 percent of profits set to support patient care at the hospital known for providing free services to all Lao children.
